This past month+ has been super stressful and busy, and my somewhat lofty goal of blogging once a week was the first thing to get axed from my to-do list…but I’m back, and determined to post at least a couple times a month (fingers crossed, hair braided).
I started this blog without a clear direction in mind – just something I have wanted to do for awhile, and honestly I have so many interests that I am still not quite sure what this will end up being. However, I did neglect to give an introduction which is a total no-no as far as Navajo norms go, so…

I grew up in Arizona but moved to Santa Fe, NM about a year and a half ago. My little family consists of my two kids (ages 4 yrs & almost 8 months), husband, and dog Daisy. I work from home as a software engineer. More specifically I debug code which is basically just solving big, complex puzzles all day…I LOVE puzzles (word puzzles, crosswords, Sudoku, riddles, etc) and anything logic based so as nerdy as it sounds, my job is fun.
Other interests: traveling, people watching (seriously, this is my favorite thing. ever.), basketball (not much of this happening lately), running (this either), sewing, all things fashion & style related.
This blog will most likely be an outlet to explore and document my interests…probably focused on fashion and style, more specifically highlighting how they are interpreted and presented by Native peoples…but who knows…stay tuned 😀
